DIY - Baby Balm

by - Monday, April 16, 2018

My Sunday’s Project. To improvise my previous Nappy RashBalm. I’m adding  EO German Chamomile, EO Tea Tree, EO Frankincense and EO Lavender.

Here is the recipe :
 ¼ cup of shea butter
¼ cup of beeswax
2 tablespoon Jojoba oil
1 teaspoon castor oil
6 drop each EO German Chamomile, EO Tea Tree, EO Lavender and EO Frankincense.

Why I choose all the ingredients?

Shea butter – Natural source of Vitamin A and other nutrients. Highly nourishing to the skin.

Beeswax - When applied to the skin, beeswax forms a protective barrier that helps protect it from environmental assaults, while also holding in moisture and reducing dryness. Plus, its soothes temporary itching!

Jojoba oil – High in nutrient-rich in Vitamin E, soothes and treat common skin condition.

Castor oil – strong fungicidal

EO German Chamomile – Analgesic, anti-infectious, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant. Common uses for acne, chapped lips, eczema, sensitive skin.

EO Tea Tree – Antibacterial, antifungal, a strong antiseptic. Common uses for acne, allergies (skin), rashes, sunburn (have been use for centuries by the aborigines to heal cuts, wounds and skin infection.

EO Lavender – Antidepressant, antifungal, anti-infections, sedative. Common uses for acne, alertness, blister and cooling.

EO Frankincense – Anticancer, expectorant, antiseptic, sedatives. Common uses for infections (skin), scarring, wrinkles and warts.

Why I so in LOVE with DIY? Coz its work to my baby skin and myself.
